The inhabitants of Elsinore will be the first in the country, which gets the pleasure of TDC’s agreement with Huawei, who must build the TDC’s new mobile network.
TDC starts this week upgrading of cell towers in Elsinore, as an exhaustion on the nationwide upgrade of TDC’s network, which is going to happen during the 2014 and 2015.
However, it takes a bit of time in the upgrade of Elsinore, and the work is so according to plan first implemented about Friday the 13th. December.
More capacity and 3 g at 900 MHz
TDC will double the capacity on the company’s 3 g network and just as competitors with Vodafone, Telenor and TDC will, at long last, finally 3 use the company’s 900 MHz spectrum for 3 g.
Especially the last one is very postitivt for TDC’s customers, since the lower 900 MHz frequencies gives a significant improved coverage both indoors and outdoors.
At the same time test the TDC also future 4 g LTE network and, according to the TDC, the impending upgrade also mean 250 new cell towers nationwide, as well as udskifting of equipment at 3,400 cell towers.
