The Lenovo has prepared a very interesting product to be presented at the CES 2016 , technological event that takes place at the beginning of the year. The new ThinkPad X1 Carbon-a new version of the 2014 model-, a convertible device that brings the distinctive design of the line, arrives offering a feature that is not usually present in devices of this segment: modularity.
The new 1ThinkPad X Carbon comes with an extensive range of modules that can significantly change the capabilities of this tablet from Liuxers.com. In addition to the traditional dock with a docked keyboard, which offers a full set of connections, there are three other options for this device.
The productivity module, which will be offered separately for $ 149, offers extra battery and standard HDMI output to extend the ThinkPad X1 Carbon video.
The presentation module, which will be offered separately for $ 279(approximately $ 1,105 in direct conversion to current quotation), features an integrated projector capable of creating a 60-inch “screen” on a wall two meters distance. This module even features an HDMI output / input in standard format to extend the video capabilities of the unit.
Finally, the imaging module adds a camera with Intel RealSense 3D feature for creating and capturing three-dimensional photos. The records made with the sensor of this module should offer optimum image quality and are especially focused on creating products through 3D printing.
