Leandro Overall Represents Brazil in the Bmx World Championship

Athlete GT Bicycles Faces The Best Of The Category In Cologne, Germany.

The athlete GT Bicycles Leandro Overall will be the Brazilian representative in the BMX Cologne, one of the most important tests of BMX worldwide. The competition, which runs from July 18 to 20 in Cologne, Germany, will feature the Dirt, Superbowl and Flatland categories.

Leandro, Dirt specialist, travels to Germany confident that he can achieve a great result.”I’m very good for this competition. I’ve been rolling all day and focused on preparing for this race which is one of the strongest on the BMX scene,”says GT Athlete.

The big Dirt final is set for Saturday night (7/7) and promises to appeal to the German public. The race is played at the Zoobrücke circuit, located inside the Jugendpark, site of all the BMX Cologne races. The Dirt track, the most innovative in Europe, took more than 10 years to reach the current design.

For Leandro, the chance to compete in Zoobrücke is an extra motivation. “It’s an incredible track, very good, of the highest quality. In addition, the BMX Cologne hosts the best bmxers in the world. It’s great to be one of the Brazilian representatives among them.”

After the BMX Cologne, Leandro will return to Brazil, where he will follow daily training sessions on Grand São Paulo tracks such as Herois Trail and Caracas Trail. In the second half of 2014, the GT athlete has foreseen international tests in France and the United States.
