Ballwatch: Trainmaster Worldtime Chronograph

New versions for the world time clock with stop function.

The combination of the world clock and chronograph is not often used in mechanical watches. Ball Watch offers, among other things, the Trainmaster Worldtime Chronograph. This watch comes in new variants at the Baselworld 2017.

The 42-millimeter steel watch carries a silver or black dial, around the rim of which is a blue-white or red-white 24-hour display. It moves along with the hour and minute hand, so that one can see immediately about the immobility of urban life in the 24 reference cities. In the predecessors of the Trainmaster Worldtime chronograph, a moon and a sun additionally decorated the 24-hour ring to distinguish day and night more clearly. The new versions do not do this, and there are also no red highlights in the urban design. This makes the dial noticeably quieter despite the many displays.

The RR1502 automatic calibrator based on the Eta-Valjoux 7750 also provides a stop function as well as a weekday display and date. While all these indicators are no longer visible in the dark, fluorescent tubes on the hands and hour indexes make the time readable even in low light conditions. The buyer has not only choice of the dial colors, also a leather or steel band are available. All versions cost 4,695 euros.
